While Zone One is a bit sketchy, there are other places where you can have a good time at night. In the suburbs of zone 9, 10, and 15 you are away from the center of the city and thus, it is safer and cleaner. People speak English here. There are shopping malls, designer shops, and fancy cars lining the streets. This is the “Zona Viva” or the alive zone. This is the place where the nightlife is hot, and the weekend is party central.
