Bruges is a place well known for its lace and tapestries. The Lace Center has demonstrations and workshops. They also sell their handmade items in their little shop. Also, while walking around the city, you can see many lace and tapestries for sale in souvenir shops.

Market Square

Market Square is where all the action is at. It is a big square with lots of history. It has served as a market since 958. Here you will find Bruges’ most iconic buildings, including the Belfry Tower and Cloth Hall. Also, you can see the Provincial Palace, which has historical meaning and architecture as well.

This is a great photo opportunity and there are a lot of tourists here. It is the most famous place in Bruges to take a photo.

This is another cool place to go to while you’re in the city.

The Church of our Lady

This church is truly amazing. It is impressive because it looks good on the outside and inside. Inside it houses a huge art collection, the most famous of which being the Madonna and Child statue by Michelangelo.
