Giorgio Armani died on September 4, 2025. Born on July 11, 1934, in Piacenza, Italy, he graduated from the University of Milan and lived in Milan for most of his life. He first started wanting to be a doctor but then decided he wanted to try something else. He worked at Milan department stores and slowly but surely learned everything about the craft of designing clothing for a living.

He gained valuable experience and knowledge while working with the fashion company, Cerruti. Then he began his own fashion company by his own name, Giorgio Armani, in 1975. Armani diversified his business empire with sports deals, music deals, and even luxury hotels.

Giorgio Armani had by the early 2000s revolutionized fashion by transforming masculine and feminine elements in his suits and jackets. Creating simple, elegant, and minimalistic modern pieces. He was also very popular with the celebrities who practically stood in line to wear one of his beautiful and elegant evening dresses.

For matters outside of fashion and business, he was a very private person. His family had stated that he liked to go out on long trips with his yacht. Armani also preferred both men and women in view of relationships. He died at his home in Milan, Italy on September 4, 2025. RIP.
