York in England might just be the most haunted city in the world. With loads of ghost tours, and it’s gothic and medieval past. With ties to J.K.Rowling, author of Harry Potter fame, and with thousands of people buried underneath its fair city, it’s not hard to imagine tons of ghosts prowling around at night between the witching hours of 12 am and 3am.

Yes, York is haunted and some famous bars in town have their very own famous ghosts. But York is not a bad town for everyday living. There are shops, restaurants, churches, parks, and pubs. But at night watch out, especially during Halloween, there are ghosts a foot! Lol.
